I had one treatment and I was very pleased I tried this out. Following this I booked 2 courses of 5 treatments. The aim was to treat an injury after a car accident and general back & shoulder stiffness from having a job involving sitting huddled over a computer for much of the day. Kevin is very professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Having someone you can trust and respect for their holistic, thorough and tailored approach made a huge difference to the recovery process. I always felt treated as an individual with the approach varied on each visit according to my needs. Kevin listens and adapts his approach accordingly as he monitors progress. I live in a little village in Halifax so to get to the 1/2 hour treatments it was a 3 hour round trip. The fact that I was willing to do this on 10 occasions is a testament to how valuable I found the treatments. Firstly wanted to say thank you for helping me with my arm; at first I didn't think my pins and needles would ever go away.
Then after a few treatments the pins and needles became less frequent. However, I still didn't believe they we completely disappear.
When I finished my last treatment, I thought my arm would just go back to how it was. Surprisingly though, it didn't. It doesn't only feel better but the pins and needles are completely gone.

The course is run over two weekends giving you time to practice in the week before final assessment.

Learn the secret to our hand techniques that is making Tuina the therapy of choice due to the quick effective results it brings to our patients. Deposits of £50 will secure your place. The remaining payment is then due on your first day.

A bit about Kevin Chiorando Meredith

Kevin has trained in internal martial arts (Tai Ji Quan, Hsing Yi and Ba Gua Zhang) since Feb 2000. After a brief stint in Japanese and Korean martial arts he met a Tai Chi teacher in Leeds that heightened his interest in the internal arts and started learning Sun style Tai Chi. After a few years he met a Chinese Tai Chi Instructor called Song Chun Yu who had studied under Li De Yin and other masters for many years. From Chun Yu he studied 42 step Tai Ji sword and Yang Tai Chi.
After 2 years of training with both teachers in Leeds, Kevin was invited to go back to China with Chun Yu to train and meet his teachers and learn Qi Gong from his mother (a very sought after Qi Gong and acupuncture master). He lived with the family and trained with Chun Yu's masters, Grand master Wu Bin & Wu Wen Han and trained with the family in Tai Chi and Qi Gong. After traveling to China Kevin visited 3 more times to train with different masters in Tai Chi, Hsing Yi Quan in Beijing and Shaolin Long Fist at the Shaolin temple.
After his last trip in 2008 he also discovered Tuina massage which, on return, went on to train and become qualified at The Northern College Of Acupuncture. In 2009 he ran successful clinics at the college and then opened his own clinic.
Now Kevin trains and teaches Kung Fu & Tai Chi for health and self defence and runs a Tuina clinic in Hale, Altrincham, Manchester.
